Become a Council Member - Right now, The Co-op are looking for people to join our Co-op National Members’ Council and have a say in the way we run our Co-op. It’s a really exciting opportunity, as the Members’ Council gets involved in all parts of Co-op life.

It's so important for Newton Stewart and Wigtown that everyone gets a Co-op Membership Card.

Not for the 5% of what you spend that the Co-op gives back to your Membership account for your to save and spend.

But for The Big Co-op Payout

1% of what you spend on selected Co-op branded products and services goes to support local causes through the Co-op Local Community Fund.

Who will you be giving your 1% to? If you don't claim it, the Co-op won't donate it and that's money that could be helping local causes in our communities!

I can't stress the importance enough! Go in store to become a Co-op member or do it online here, but start collecting 1% of your shop to donate to local causes that matter to you!
