Work Experience Places For Newton Stewart Youth

Following my meeting with the Newton Stewart Youth Group I have today made a little bit of progress in finding the young people some work experience.

I was so overwhelmed because I just asked on the off chance and both places said they'd help and give a young person work experiences, without hesitation. How incredible is that, it's that old thing of just asking.

I have contacted the lady at the Youth Club and she's going to make contact and make all the arrangements. So if you go in on Saturday, be nice to the youngsters and give them a little bit of encouragement.

Hopefully these two placements are the first of many, and all the youngsters can get some valuable work experience to add to their CV and a reference to vouch for them when they come to applying for work in the future.
